Amsterdam creates graffiti version of ‘I amsterdam’

On October 28, Street Art Today created together with hundreds of highly motivated visitors a huge graffiti version of the I amsterdam-logo. This event was part of 24H Noord, an opportunity to experience the north side of Amsterdam in a new way.

Last Saturday, hundreds of people came to the NDSM-wharf to tag their name inside the outlines of the logo. This beautiful chaotic collection of tags formed the city’s biggest ‘I amsterdam’. Besides playing with paint, the visitors could also enter a mysterious real-life diorama made by the inspiring street art duo Pipsqueak was here.

We want to thank the Turbo Club for the funky tunes and delicious drinks, Marco Buddingh for the beautiful pictures and all the enthusiastic people for creating this special version of the I amsterdam-logo.
