This summer, Street Art Today curated Seinähullu Vantaa 2017. The project, organized by Street Art Vantaa and Vantaa Art Museum Artsi, aims to increase the amount and quality of Finnish mural art. Street Art Today selected the street art masters Aryz, Pipsqueak was here, DOURONE, Mr. June and PSO Man to create five stunning murals in the city of Vantaa. At the same time, these artists support a group of five highly motivated Finnish talents, who will make their own murals in 2018.

1. Pipsqueak was here
Amsterdam based duo Pipsqueak was here made their mural at Hepokuja 4 in Vantaa, Finland. The painting ‘Super Vision’ shows a bear looking at a little girl. On behalf of nature, the bear keeps an eye on man. It is a call for responsible behavior. The girl looks straight ahead, asking us – the spectators – to do the same and take responsibility for the nature on this beautiful planet.
The second to paint a mural in Vantaa was none other than the Spanish top artist Aryz. He made his colorful work at Laajaniitynkuja 5 in Vantaa, Finland.
3. Mr. June
Abstract painter Mr. June created a mural consisting of three parts. The Dutch artist was inspired by the colors of the buildings and their surroundings, working with these colors as if the facades were folded inwards. You can find his work at Hiirakkotie 1 in Vantaa, Finland.
The Spanish street art duo DOURONE was the fourth to make a painting in Vantaa, Finland. This huge mural is named ‘Pensamiento Propio’, which means ‘Own Thinking’. It tells the importance of having your own thoughts. According to DOURONE, this is the only way to be free. You can find this beauty at Virtakuja 2, Myyrmäki in Vantaa, Finland.
5. PSO Man
Street Art Today selected the Belgium painter PSO Man as the fifth street artist. This great work can be seen at Kivikirveenkuja 4, Myyrmäki in Vantaa, Finland.
