New TelmoMiel Mural in Amsterdam

Street Art Today brought neighbours, school kids, artists and local businesses together to add some color to the Varenweg in the north of Amsterdam. The result is an astonishing new mural by TelmoMiel!

‘How can we upgrade up this drabby wall and brighten up the neighbourhood?’ was the central question when Street Art Today and TelmoMiel gathered up with the children. After an inspiring lecture on street art, the children had their turn in imagining and drawing for the mural. Candy cotton clouds, flying pooh machines, dragons and chocolate fountains came by. Inspired by the children’s ideas, Telmo and Miel set to the task.

All involved celebrated the colorful and bright new mural with lemonade, music and sidewalk chalk for the kids to make the street even more colorful. Together with the school kids, Saskia Groenewoud, the cultural boss from the municipality of Amsterdam unveiled the mural.
