7 Best Murals of the Month: February 2018

Each month, Street Art Today selects the seven most stunning murals of the past month. In this edition: Ludo’s bitcoin-flower, a naked beauty, amazing tribute by Mr. Dheo and Pariz One and more! The list is in a random order.

#1 LUDO – The world of cryptocurrencies is a hot topic nowadays. This month, the global hype even appeared on the streets of Paris. Ludo‘s meaningful mural shows a bitcoin-flower rising high above various fallen currencies. RIP the banking system!

#2 BELIN – In February, master Belin painted a naked beauty named ‘No Dejes De Mirarme’ (English: ‘Don’t stop looking at me’). You can find this Post Neo Cubism mural in Rouen, France. Photographer unknown.

#3 PSO MAN – Belgian first-class artist PSO Man made his motherland a little more colorful by creating this fantastic mural in the city of Hasselt. Great storytelling for Street Art Festival Belgium.

#4 MR DHEO x PARIZ ONE – Beautiful tribute by Mr. Dheo and Pariz One for the Spanish graffiti king Treze. Rest in power.

#5 BORDALO II – For his new solo show, Bordalo II created various Trash Animals in San Francisco. This ‘Half Harbor Seal’ made the list, but make sure you also check out the other ones! You can visit Bordalo’s show ‘Trashedy’ until March 24 at Heron Arts, San Fransisco.

#6 RONE – Finished at the end of January, but too good not to show. Exploring beauty, strength and fragility of women, this huge portrait is made by Rone in Perth, Western Australia.

#7 VHILS x OBEY – ‘American Dreamers’ is an insane collaboration between two of the most recognized street artists of this moment: Vhils and Obey aka Shepard Fairey. For more info about the concept check out Obey’s Instagram post. Los Angeles, photo by Jon furlong.
