Karski and Beyond brighten up the Molenwijk

The new year has started well with a freshly painted wall by Karski and Beyond in the Amsterdam neighborhood Molenwijk. Within a week, the Dutch street art duo turned a gray and shady parking garage into a colorful eyecatcher in the north of Amsterdam.

Combining their skills since 2014, Karski and Beyond created a refreshing mix of realistic images and abstract forms. The mural is a representation of the neighborhood, showing a diverse and colorful community where there is room for the purity of flora and fauna. The radiant pallet of colors creates a positive ambiance, which was reflected by the many smiles and spontaneous reactions of the neighbors passing by.

‘Karski and Beyond 1801’ is curated and produced by Street Art Today and is commissioned by the De Alliantie and the municipality Stadsdeel Amsterdam Noord.
